We are seeking a highly capable, hands-on Business Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations and ensure the company runs smoothly, efficiently, and independently of the founder’s daily involvement.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys building structure, improving systems, and guiding small teams — not a corporate desk role. Candidates should be comfortable working across multiple functions and contributing wherever needed.

Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership
Oversee daily business operations across production, administration, and delivery
Ensure orders flow smoothly from production through fulfilment
Identify operational risks early and resolve them proactively
Maintain high standards for product quality and customer experience - Team Leadership
Provide clear day-to-day leadership for a small team
Foster accountability and professionalism
Address performance issues early and constructively
Establish simple, effective meeting rhythms - Improve Processes & Build Efficiency
Drive cost awareness and identify opportunities to improve margins.
Continuously improve workflows and reduce friction
Strengthen inventory discipline and operational visibility - Commercial Execution
Develop strong commercial awareness and proactively identify opportunities to improve revenue and profitability.
Make confident day-to-day operational decisions without requiring founder approval.
Help implement pricing, delivery, and operational policies
Coordinate execution of promotions, events, and partnerships - Reporting & Visibility
Maintain clear operational reporting.
Raise issues early.
Requirements

Professional working proficiency in English (spoken and written)
Strong Google Sheets / spreadsheet literacy
Digitally confident and quick to master new systems.
Strong prioritisation and decision-making skills
Comfortable working with ERP systems (experience with Odoo ERP is a strong advantage)
Clear written and verbal communication
Ability to analyse basic operational and financial data
Capable of managing multiple priorities without losing structure - Experience
5+ years with demonstrated operational responsibility.
Proven experience supervising teams and coordinating day-to-day operations.
Experience in food production, logistics, retail, hospitality, or similarly operational environments.
Track record of improving processes, solving operational problems, or increasing efficiency.
Experience working in a small-to-medium business where adaptability and hands-on leadership are required.
Food experience is helpful but not required — operational maturity is far more important. Candidates who are vegan or who strongly understand and align with plant-based values will have a distinct advantage.
